enclosure makes this worse, and also causes air stagnancy, which can lead to respiratory infections.
Cleaning your enclosure on a regular basis can easily get rid of such problems. Upon seeing fecal matter at the
bottom of the cage or any other part of the cage, like on the leaves of plants, simply remove it with a paper
towel. This will both reduce the amount of time is allowed for the material to fester and will make later regular
full-cage cleanings easier. Regular full-cage cleanings should be done every week or every two weeks. This should
involve moving everything out of the cage and bringing it outside. All dead leaves should be sprayed out of the
cage, along with any remaining fecal material. Once this is done, the entire cage should be sprayed with a 1:1:10
